Literacy Stations

At the car station students matched capital and lowercase letter cards.

Students recorded their matches on the recording sheet.  The following three stations are from Deanna Jump and Julie Lee at teacherspayteachers.com

Beginning Sounds Backpack: At this station students selected a backpack and determined the beginning sound of the picture.  Students then recorded their answer on their paper and colored their backpack to match.

Flip Flop Beginning Sounds: For this station students matched the letter to its beginning sound picture.

Students recorded their answer on their paper by writing the letter and coloring their flip flops to match.

At the train station students completed a letter web.  Students first sorted picture cards by their beginning sound.  For this letter web students were sorting and looking for pictures that begin with the /p/ sound.

Students then drew their /p/ pictures on their web and wrote the word under their drawing.

Apple Tree Letter Match- At this station students matched the lowercase letters on the tree with the capital letters on the apples.

I'll be posting math and literacy stations we are currently working on this week very soon!
