Numbers 0-5 Math Stations

Here are the math stations students are currently completing in the classroom:

At this station students were introduced to dice and how we use them correctly in the classroom.  Students are practicing to recognize different dot configurations.  Students roll their own die and color in the matching dots on their paper.

At this station students count out the appropriate amount of "apples" to place on their tree.  Their "apples" should match the number in the basket.

Tree templates from Kelly at kellyskindergarten.com

After completing one tree, students select another from the basket.  There are trees for numbers 1-10.

Students are completing Brown Bear Numbers at Station 3.  For this station students roll number dice.  After rolling their die, students note the number and color of the number they rolled.  They then find the number on their paper.

Students used markers to trace the number to match the color of the number they rolled.

Finally, at this station students select an animal from the story Brown Bear Brown Bear.  They color their animal on their paper to match.  Then they count the dots and record the amount of dots in the box on their paper.

Thank you for stopping by!  Have a great week!
